The water
layer, now
intelligent

SmartOps is Gradiant's model layer: the water-native AI that runs on top of the plants we operate.

Trained on 10 trillion live data points across Gradiant's global installed base, SmartOps combines digital twins, advanced analytics, and intelligent controls to anticipate problems, optimize performance and improve continuously.

Intelligence Built
for Water

Water plants have stayed manual while AI reshaped everything around them. Operators tune chemistry and set-points manually, problems surface as downtime, and the knowledge in an individual plant never compounds across the fleet. SmartOps changes that. It is the intelligence that enables Gradiant’s physical water layer to perform and continue improving at the pace of the AI economy.

ONE MODEL,
ACROSS THE WATER LAYER

SmartOps powers the water infrastructure Gradiant designs, builds, and operates across semiconductor fabs, data centers, energy facilities, and industrial sites. A digital twin translates live operating data into a dynamic model of plant performance. Machine-learning and process models identify emerging risks, recommend or implement adjustments, and help operators optimize performance. It is Gradiant’s Model layer, the intelligence that supercharges the performance of the physical platform.

Predictive
uptime

SmartOps flags fouling and failures before they stop production, turning unplanned downtime into scheduled maintenance and protecting critical assets.

Real-time
optimization

Chemistry, recovery, and energy tuned continuously, holding gains beyond what manual operation can, for up to 20% cost and efficiency improvements.

A DEEPENING
data pool

Every install adds live data, so the model improves with scale, a compounding gain quarter after quarter that no other installed base can match.

One services
contract

SmartOps bundles with O&M and CURE Chemicals as a single ongoing contract, delivered with confidence from one accountable partner.

Water-native AI,
not horizontal automation

SmartOps was built for water from the ground up. It reads the physics of a plant, motor-current drift across a pump, pressure drop across a membrane, and dozens of other signals, and closes the loop on its own.

It predicts, NOT
Only REPORTS

Generic systems alarm after a failure. SmartOps predicts before one, converting unplanned downtime into scheduled maintenance.

It acts, Not
Only Advises

Beyond dashboards, SmartOps takes control of set-points and chemistry dosing autonomously. It reduces workload, not just alarms.

It compounds,
with every plant

Learning from over trillion data points across Gradiant’s installed base, each new plant starts smarter than the last and improves the others.

SmartOps does it all
with compelling results

SmartOps is the only platform that combines all of a plant’s critical control points in one intelligent system.

Every drop counts

Delivered as a service
on top of the water layer we run

SmartOps may be installed with our technologies and staffed by the customer. It is available bundled with Gradiant’s O&M and CURE Chemicals as one lifecycle contract, so the model, the chemistry, and the operators all answer to the same accountable partner. As the fleet grows, your plant gets the benefit of every other plant’s anonymized learning.

Standalone or
Bundled with O&M

One contract for operations, chemistry, and intelligence, priced as an ongoing service rather than a capital purchase.

the fleet

Every new plant across chips, data centers, energy, and industry makes the model that runs your plant a little better.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is SmartOps?

SmartOps is Gradiant’s water-native AI. A digital twin takes live sensor data from a plant and feeds machine-learning and deep-learning models that predict failures, optimize chemistry and recovery, and control setpoints autonomously, validated at production scale across Gradiant’s global fleet.

In the AI economy, the model layer is the intelligence that sits on top of the physical infrastructure. SmartOps plays exactly that role for water: it runs on top of Gradiant’s chips, data center, energy, and applied-industry plants and makes the whole physical platform perform and compound.

SCADA reports and alarms. Horizontal industrial AI is not built for water chemistry. SmartOps combines control integration, predictive maintenance, prescriptive setpoint control, water chemistry awareness, and closed-loop dosing in one system, and it learns from the largest water install base in the industry.

Typical savings include 10% in energy, 20% in chemicals, and 20% in OPEX, with up to 50% labor savings on optimized plants, compounding as the fleet grows.

Yes. SmartOps can be purchased as a standalone or delivered as part of Gradiant’s lifecycle service, bundled with O&M and CURE Chemicals on Gradiant-operated plants, so customers get the model, the chemistry, and the operators from one accountable partner.

Yes. SmartOps is available on-premise, in the cloud, or as a hybrid deployment, so customers can choose the model that fits their data governance, IT, and security requirements. Gradiant is ISO 27001 certified, giving customers added confidence in how their operational data is protected regardless of deployment model.
