Gradiant has partnered with SLB, Rio Tinto, and an Australian mining company to enhance productivity and sustainability in their mining operations by reducing carbon and water footprints. Utilizing proprietary RO Infinity membranes and SmartOps AI, Gradiant is recovering critical minerals—lithium, nickel, cobalt—from U.S. and Western Australian operations, achieving faster and cost-effective extraction.

Gradiant and SLB have partnered to accelerate critical mineral production. Gradiant technology enabled high levels of lithium concentration in a fraction of the time required by conventional methods, while also reducing carbon emissions, energy consumption, and capital costs when compared to thermal-based technologies. This partnership supports decarbonization goals and enhances water reuse in challenging environments.
